Basic Storyboard
Time to start thinking about the actual 5 minute segment. The topic “The effects of global warming on the earth” is very broad topic so, I will have to pick the most crucial and important events that affect people (therefore causing change). Below is basic idea of my 5 minutes.
Introduction of the effects of global warming (1-1.5 min)
- Brief summary of the positives and negatives of the effects
- Quotes (audio/video) of dynamic statements that will capture attention
- Economic Effects — society, insurance, transportation (2 min)
- Environmental Effects — forests, animals, oceans, flooding, storms (2 min)
- Effect on Health — surplus water, lack of water, disease, flooding (2 min)
- (Psychological Effect of global warming) Maybe
- Useful interview clips will be added inbetween segments for emphasis
Conclusion — why people need to take action and realize that it is a serious climate crisis
- Ending audio, video
- End with a strong message to the viewer
