Interview Reflection
On Friday, Nick, Chris, and I successfully interviewed a total of 6 people for our global warming documentary. It was an very interesting experience to be able to walk up to strangers and ask them questions and such. After a few rejections and awkward moments, we completed the interviews. The main thing that I noticed was that the street interviewees did not care to elaborate much on their answers (because they were outside pumping gas). However because of there quick responses, we were able to ask them more questions. One extra tidbit that I added to the interview included a small survey asking for the size of their house, car, and trips. I will use this information to create some sort of graph as well as mini-segment for our portion of the documentary. Currently, I have started to create some auxiliary for our section and it is coming out nicely.

I never thought of interviewing people at a gas station (I used to be a reporter of sorts), but that would be a good of a place to “hit” many people in a short span of time.
Your graph idea sounds interesting. I hope the staff gets to see your finished documentary sometime.
